If you have a drainage system that utilises a cesspit or septic tank, the tank would require emptying at least once annually depending on the amount of people using the system at your premises, the size of the tank and the type of soakaway installed.

Without frequent emptying, the solid waste in the tank could flow into the soakaway pipe work or back up into the outfall pipe work causing blockages and excess expenditure.
